Welcome to our new coach Mariano!
We are delighted to introduce our new coach Mariano Pettigrosso who joins our team of very talented coaches at Rackets Academy. Mariano, who hails from Argentina, joins us with a wealth of experience gained from world class tennis academies in Argentina, the US and Europe.
Mariano enjoyed a successful tennis career on the professional tennis circuit, participating in all 4 grand slams culminating in ranking 28th nationally (NCAA Divison1). Today, Mariano’s passion is to utilise his knowledge and experience to coach others. With over 10 years experience coaching ATP, WTA, and junior ITF players, Mariano has worked for two of the most prestigious European tennis academies (Schuttler-Waske Tennis University in Germany and Kim Clijsters Academy in Belgium).
Mariano shares his passion for tennis and international experience with his players, also serving as sparring partner for some of the top pro tennis players who come to Dubai for their off season preparation, such as Lucas Pouille (#20 ATP) and Svetlana Kuznetzova (#8 WTA).
Mariano’s key focus is on expertise and high performance, so if your child is looking to take their game to the next level to succeed, through increased training and moving from recreational games to competitions and tournaments, then Mariano is the guy who will help them achieve this!
Mariano is also available for training blocks; a 5-day intensive course that looks at every aspect of your game from the technical, physical and mental aspect to get you ready for a big tournament.
Mariano is proficient in Spanish, English, French & Italian; picked up from his years of travel and international experience!
