What’s New?
We are proud to introduce you to our new Padel Tennis sponsor, Bandeja. Bandeja is the first Emirati brand that focus on Padel Tennis since Padel has become one the fastest growing sports worldwide & newly introduced in the UAE. “Bandeja” is a Spanish word that means (tray, platter) but in terms of Padel tennis, “Bandeja” is one of the difficult shots to hit. Rackets Academy Stringing Service
Rackets Academy now offers a professional tennis racket stringing service. We have a high level of experience, having strung rackets for over 20 years from beginners to professional players. With a range of high quality strings, or you can supply your own if you wish, we will bring the best out of your racket. Grip replacement service is also available.

Help a family in need through the ‘Stop and Help’ initiative
This week, Rackets Academy has invited local community initiative Stop and Help to hold court. This life-changing ‘kindness exchange’ was created to serve the community with one simple objective: to match families in desperate need with those who can help. The concept is simple: the details of families that have lost their income are given to registered supporters who then supply as little as a week’s essential provisions – basic food, household and sanitary items. Shopping can be purchased online and delivered direct by several supermarkets across the UAE. It couldn’t be easier to stop another family from going hungry. “What Stop and Help needs now is for more people to sign up to the exchange and share some kindness,” says founder Heather Harries. “If we can lighten the load for a struggling family with a few provisions, like bags of rice, then why not?” Game? Rule of the Week
If the server clips the net but the ball still goes in the service area then ‘let’ is called and they get to take that serve again without penalty. If the ball hits the net and fails to go in the service area then ‘out’ is called and they lose that serve.
