New term starts next week…sign up NOW!
The new term starts next week on Sunday 30th August and will run for 15 weeks until Saturday December 12th 2020. We can’t wait to welcome all our players back on to the courts! Please get in touch with your coach to book your class or lesson or email register@racketsacademy.ae. Early payment package price is available on payments made within 14 days of the first lesson.
New Court – Fitness First, Mudon
We are excited to announce that we have a brand new tennis court at Fitness First in Mudon to add to our growing portfolio. New Coach: Welcome to Coach Kevin
We are delighted to introduce you to Coach Kevin who joins the Rackets Academy team this term. A high performance coach from Canada with a USPTA ELITE certification, Kevin has excellent teaching credentials and has worked with tournament players, juniors, kids and adults of all ages and abilities.
Kevin is an experienced tennis professional with a great eye for the game and passion to teach it. Teaching at top academies and resorts in north America, Kevin is an experienced travelling coach for top juniors in the Caribbean, USA and Canada. Kevin played countless ITF professional tournaments which included juniors, futures and satellite men’s professional circuit and invitational tournaments. In his junior years he represented Jamaica at professional level as a junior player both locally and internationally for seven years.
Kevin has 21 years of solid coaching experience all over the world, working at the Rick Macci Tennis Academy in Florida as well as numerous world renowned resorts in Jamaica, Mexico and St Kitts, such as Jewel, Grand Palladium and Hedonism11 resorts to name but a few. His coaching philosophy is to mentor, inspire, and coach future world champion tennis player and other levels of play. Creating no limits, technically, tactically, strategically, physically, competitively and mentally bringing the game of tennis to greater heights for all tennis fans to enjoy.
Kevin’s strength lies in his excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He works effectively with children, juniors and adults and is experienced and skilled at working with nationally ranked players and nurturing multiple high performance juniors to gain tennis scholarship to university.
Mrs Miyagis Summer Ladies League
Our ladies have had great fun this summer playing in our Mrs Miyagis Summer Ladies League and we’ve seen some fantastic performances at our indoor court at Sofitel Hotel, The Palm. Results from the Quarter & Semi-Finals are as follows:
Quarter Finals:

Semi Finals:
Heather & Ewa beat Louise & Letiasha 7-6 6-3
