Congratulations to our Players of the Week, Helen Hughes and Stephanie Edwards. Helen and Stephanie receive this award for their brilliant performance in their doubles match last week. Well done ladies!

Our preloved tennis balls are being enjoyed by the kids at RRUP school in Ullannur, Kerala, India. The kids are now all kitted out and ready to play tennis!

Rule of the Week
The ball can hit any part of the line for the point to be called ‘in’. If it is outside the line, then the ball is ‘out’.
Coach Sam’s Tip of the Week: Making Smart Choices
“Making smart choices during matches is just as important as good execution. This includes knowing when to change direction. Some players change direction without any reason to do so and put themselves in a poor position to return their opponent’s ball. The general rule of thumb is to only change direction when a ball is weak; don’t change direction on good quality balls. Find the right moment to change direction. Good luck!”
