Players of the Week
Congratulations to our Player of the Week, Yousef Manna. Yousef receives this award for his fantastic performance in the Under 16’s Boys UAE League last week (winning all 3 of his matches) and for reaching the second round in the qualifying match at the Dubai ITF. Well done Yousef, this award is much deserved.
Ladies League – results
Well done to all the ladies who took part in week 7 of our ladies league last week. Congratulations to MCRA: Full Metal Rackets, AR2: Victorious and Springs: Drop Shots who won their matches! We are starting season 2 in a few weeks and are looking for players to join the league. If you think you have what it takes then get in touch!

Results from U16’s Tournament
Congratulations to everyone who took part in our U16’s Tournament last weekend. It was a fantastic afternoon. Congratulations to our champion Alex Zimmerman who beat her sister, Victoria Zimmerman, 4-2 in the final. Well done girls on a brilliant game!
Rackets Academy U16’s boys smash The Academy in the UAE League!
Our Under 16 Boys did us proud in the UAE League last weekend beating The Academy in all 3 matches. Congratulations to Champions Yousef Manna and Sanjay Logarajan, who won their singles matches 6-0, 6-1 and 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 respectively as well as their doubles match 6-2 6-2. Well done boys on your fantastic performance throughout. Keep up the great work!

Coach Innocent’s Tip of the Week: When to make a Drop Shot
“In a match, a drop shot helps you win the point or open up the court to win the point. It is crucial to know when to make a drop shot. In the middle of a rally a drop shot can be useful while your opponent is still enjoying the rally from the baseline. Do not make a drop shot when your opponent is in the service box area; this point might cost you the match. So apply this in your next game. Good luck!”
