Player of the Week

Congratulations to our Player of the Week, Achille Mangili, for his outstanding performance throughout the Rackets Academy Championships 2018, where he reached the finals in the Under 10’s category. Well done Achille on this amazing achievement. Your grit and dedication to tennis is most certainly paying off! Keep up the great work!

 

Rackets Academy Championships 2018

Our Rackets Academy Championships 2018, the biggest amateur tennis tournament in Dubai, came to a close last weekend after a fantastic tournament with some top tennis played. The tournament was a huge success! Well done to all those who took part and congratulations to all the finalists. The standard of tennis was incredible and the sportsmanship was a pleasure to watch.

Under 10 Girls – Winner: Li Nexin, Runner Up: Haniya Al Dughaither,  Score: 7-6 (3)

Under 14 Girls – Winner: Andra Serbu, Runner Up: Diya Tamse Score: 6-0 6-2

Under 16 Girls – Winner: Stefania Bojica, Runner Up: Renee Acena, Score: 6-0 6-2

Under 10 Boys – Winner: Enzo Kahi, Runner Up: Achille Mangili, Score: 6-0 6-0

Under 12 Boys – Winner: Dev Kanbargimath, Runner Up: Shestak Rainer, Score: 7-5 6-1

Under 14 Boys – Rayan Sajjid beat Jhon Mehul 6-7 6-3 3-0 (w/o)

Under 16 Boys – Winner: Malik Ariaz, Runner Up: Jhon Mehul, Score: w/0

Ladies Singles – Winner: Stefania Bojica, Runner Up: Renee Acena, Score: 6-2 6-2

Men’s Doubles – Winners: Sam Omuile & Jo Serra,Runner up: Pierre Dumas & Xavier Mason

Mens Singles – Winner: Simon Roberts, Runner Up: Omar Behroozian, Score: 6-4 6-0

Mixed Doubles – Winner: Joseph Serra & Bea Acena, Runners Up: Innocent Chimanzie & Ebere Owuso, Score: 6-2 6-1
