Rackets Academy secures a new 5-star venue on the Palm!!
We are super excited to announce that we have signed the Waldorf Astoria on the Palm, as a new venue to add to the Rackets Academy fast growing portfolio. This stunning 5-star luxury resort, with the only tennis court in the region located on the beach, will provide a great opportunity for Palm residents to access the Rackets Academy coaches on their doorstep.
Players of the Week
Congratulations to our Players of the Week Sam Omuile and Heather Drake. Sam receives this award for his outstanding performance in his men’s singles and doubles semi-final against Meydan last week, putting Rackets Academy A Team in the Final of the UAE Men’s League. Heather receives this award for a brilliant match against DLC last week, in which she played some fantastic tennis. Congratulations Sam and Heather, well deserved!
Ladies League Results
Well done to all our ladies who took part in league matches last week. Congratulations to Full Metal Rackets and MCRA 4 for winning their matches against PSS and MCRA Baseliners respectively.

UAE National Men’s League Results
Our men’s teams did us proud this weekend with wins all round! Our A Team played against Meydan in the League Semi-Finals in which Sam & Joseph won the deciding doubles match to put the A team through to the Final. The B Team played Emirates Tennis Academy in the other Semi-Final which saw both Amr and Rasul win their singles matches for a 2-0 victory. Rasul put his team in the Final following a 3 hour match finishing 7-6 in the third set. This puts both our teams in the Finals this Saturday. Stay tuned to our social media to find out where the Final will be played this weekend. Congratulations guys and good luck for the finals!!
Rackets Football Team
Our Rackets football team secured a win and a draw in their final fixtures, finishing second, and go into the play offs this weekend. Good luck guys!
