New Coach: Welcome to Coach Joe and Coach Kayla
Coach Joe is a LTA level 3 qualified and licensed British tennis coach with over 13 years of coaching experience. He has worked with players of all ages and abilities, including a professional tennis player and multiple nationally ranked juniors. Over the years, Joe has developed a fascination with the technical aspect of tennis and he finds the process of analyzing and improving a player’s technique extremely rewarding. He believes that footwork patterns (all the different footwork movements performed whilst hitting each shot) are imperative, therefore bases most of his coaching style around this. Joe has coached in various locations including London and Manchester in the UK, Sydney in Australia and Dubai.
As a player, Joe trained and competed full time and achieved a top 50 national ranking. He was the number 1 tennis player at the University of Leeds and has represented various teams, competing in men’s county and national leagues across the UK. Joe also participated in an exhibition match where he was partnered with Pat Cash (former Wimbledon champion).
Coach Kayla grew up in South Africa where she started playing tennis from the early age of 4. She moved to the UK and played at Bisham Abbey in the pro academy team. She won the Berkshire Schools Tournament and went on to compete at regionals. She has been coaching tennis for the last 4 years with Living Tennis with Delgado & Lee at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. She has significant experience with the red, orange and green ball age groups encouraging all to strive to be the best players they can be.

Coming up next, U18 Boys and Girls UTR this weekend (SEPT 17-18th 2022) tournament also take place in Motor City, Atlantis and Sofitel continuing with the same knock out format and best of three sets, third set super tie break.
