Travel Tour
The package to go to the Ten Pro in Belgium at the Kim Clijsters Academy is ready. If any player is interested in traveling to the tournament, please contact coach Alejandro or Rackets Academy. You can also take a look at the package that is posted on our website.
Big shout out to our elite player Aryan Nanda who had a good run at the ITF in Lebanon this past week. He won the first round playing great tennis and fell in the second round against the first seeded player by a double 6/3.
Our player Timur is currently in Athens competing at the best U10 Tournaments worldwide, representing the UAE but also Rackets Academy. We are very proud to see him compete well at the IMG Future Stars Tournament and can’t wait to see his amazing results!
Get to know our new fitness coach
Marc Alonso
Welcome to the team Marc! Let us welcome on board a new fitness coach coming all the way from Barcelona, Spain. He grew up in a town where sports were very common and he was lucky enough to get to grow around sports. He was competed in football, in jujitsu competitions and also CrossFit and Irox. Marc Alonso has just started working at Rackets Academy this past week and it is a great asset to our staff. He has been involved in the fitness world in the past years training different sport teams and he is fully committed to start training our players.
Camps over the summer
If you want to keep playing during the summer get in contact with our coaches. We will like to have a group of players that want to travel to Europe this summer for training and playing in tournaments, so if you are interested get in contact with Rackets Academy and we will count on you!
Local Tournaments
We have more UTR tournaments coming up at Rackets Academy in the next few months. Starting May 7th we have a UTR Men’s Singles tournament, with a knock out format, best of three sets and third set super tie break. It will be played in Motor City and Atlantis over the weekend.
In May 21st we host a Men’s Singles 35+ tournament also in Motor City and Atlantis.
To finish off the month of May we will host an U18 Boys and Girls UTR Tournament that will also take place in Motor City and Atlantis continuing with the same knock out format and best of three sets, third set super tie break.
There are also some UAE Tennis Federation coming up in the next months

For all the Green Ball players at Rackets Academy every Saturday starting April 16th there will be a Green Ball Tournament taking place in Atlantis from 4:30-7:30. Make sure you send us an email to register, the entry is FREE!
Padel Tennis
Have you tried it yet? The Fitness First in Mudon opened the first padel tennis court in Mudon Ranches for members and non-members. Make sure you download the Rackets Academy App and book your session, exclusive 10% off for all Fitness First members and for every booking enjoy complimentary access to Fitness First Mudon. This is the first of many padel courts at Mudon, there are another six courts opening very soon. If you book your court, you can take advantage of their amazing facilities, which include great locker rooms, an outdoor semi-Olympic swimming pool and a fully equipped gym.
Price per 90 min lesson – 200AED
Fitness First Mudon is also hosting a member’s tournament on the last Sunday of every month at Mudon Padel, so this Sunday get ready to compete at their tournaments! The tournament will take place from 5:30 – 8:30pm and it is free for Fitness First members. Non-member can also participate registering with an extra charge of 50AED per tournament.
Rackets Academy Ladies League Training
If you are looking to join the Rackets Academy Ladies League next term, starting in September, but you would like to start training now make sure you contact Rackets Academy. Even though the Ladies League is over team trainings are still taking place. Join one of our teams!
