Nikola “Nick” Horvat is an accomplished professional tennis coach and performance expert from Croatia, with over two decades of experience on the WTA and ATP Tours. He has guided elite players including Donna Vekić, Mario Ančić, Borna Ćorić, Timea Babos, and Magda Linette.
Nick led Donna Vekić to some of the biggest milestones of her career — including an Olympic silver medal, a Wimbledon semifinal, and a Top-20 WTA ranking.
As a YONEX Global Coach and Talent Scout, Nick heads the VAMOS J YONEX training camps across the world (U.S., Japan, Europe), developing the next generation of players.
As a former national junior champion and later the captain of Croatia’s junior national teams, Nick holds an MBA from Cotrugli Business School and a Sports Science degree from the University of Zagreb.
Recognized as Croatian Tennis Coach of the Year (2024), he blends technical mastery with a holistic philosophy centered on character, discipline, and human performance.
