My name is Connor Williamson, and I am from Auckland, New Zealand. I started playing tennis at the age of 3, and by the time I was 8, I won my first regional tournament. For the next 10 years, I competed successfully in club, school, regional, national, and international events, representing my country in both singles and doubles, as well as in individual and team competitions. My tennis journey has taken me to various countries around the world, including France, Australia, Japan, New Caledonia, Fiji, and the United States.
I was the highest-ranked ITF junior player in Auckland and achieved my top ITF junior ranking before graduating from high school. My passion for tennis brought me to the U.S. where I earned a scholarship to a Division 1 college, further enhancing my skills and knowledge of the sport. During my time in Division 1 collegiate tennis, I achieved notable success, including two victories over nationally ranked ITA opponents in both singles and doubles.
I graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Coaching. I am eager to share my knowledge, skills, and love of tennis with as many people as possible.
