I started playing tennis in a club at the age of 7 and was competing at the age of 9. I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the world playing in different competitions. I have represented my county, Warwickshire, in several competitions across the UK.
At the age of 14 I was selected to participate in my first International Children’s Games in Bangkok, Thailand. I then competed another 2 times in Cleveland, Ohio and Reykjavik, Iceland.
I decided whilst doing my GCSEs to use my knowledge of the game to start some part time coaching at my local club and from there I gained my 4 coaching qualifications and became full time at the age of 18. I’ve now been a full time coach for 13 years and have worked in UK, America, Australia and now Dubai which has massively helped in my progression into becoming the best coach I can be by learning from others around the world.
